AMERICAN HERITAGE WAX MUSEUM
"In Scottsdale, Arizona, is the first exhibition of its kind ever permanently established in the western United States. Representing more than two years of careful research and painstaking craftsmanship, the museum depicts the most famous of America's past and present, sculpted life-size in, displayed in historically accurate settings."

This wax museum, apart of the Josephine Tussaud, opened in January 1962 at 98 West Stetson Drive and depicted the most famous of America's past and present, sculpted life-size in, displayed in historically accurate settings.
An exhibit of waxen Beatles in 1964 caused a near riot by fans. Part-time Scottsdale resident Dick Van Dyke visited the museum to see his image from “Mary Poppins.”
The Museum closed it's Scottsdale location in 1971 and moved to nearby Phoenix and was rebranded as the ROYAL LONDON WAX MUSEUM - it closed in 1975.
